Who we are

dessaguide.com is run by DessaGuide (“we”). It is an independent information and entertainment service. It is not affiliated with Block, Inc., and it does not provide access to Dessa.

Information on this site

We work to keep information accurate, dated, and sourced (see our editorial policy), but products and availability change. Official information about Dessa is on Block’s Dessa page. Content is provided for general information and isn’t professional advice.

The voice challenges

• Challenges are free and need no account. Each visitor can play up to 3 rounds every 24 hours. We may apply additional network-level limits to prevent abuse.
• A round counts once its 2-minute clock starts. Rounds that fail to connect or are interrupted by a technical problem don’t count.
• Results are for fun. They are produced automatically by AI from the round’s conversation and are not an assessment of you.
• The characters are fictional. AI replies can be wrong or odd; don’t rely on them for anything real.
• The challenge runs on the OpenAI Realtime API. By playing, you also agree not to use it in ways that break OpenAI’s usage policies.
• You must be old enough to use online services in your country without a parent’s permission, or have that permission.

Acceptable use

Don’t try to disrupt the service, get around play limits, automate access, extract the system’s instructions for misuse, or use it to produce harmful, hateful, or illegal content. We may block access that does.

Email updates

Subscriptions are voluntary and free. They don’t give you access to Dessa or extra challenges. You can unsubscribe anytime.

Changes and availability

We may change, pause, or end content, challenges, or play limits, for example when costs or capacity require it. We’ll show the current rules on the challenge page. These terms may be updated; the date above shows the latest version.

Liability

The site and challenges are provided “as is”, without warranties, to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under laws that can’t be excluded.
